Crescentine o tigelle are produced using the traditional method of the Modena Apennines, traditionally eaten by cutting them in half and filling them with a mixture of lard, garlic and rosemary, with the addition of Parmigiano Reggiano. They can also be enjoyed with cured meats, fresh cheeses and game: in recent years the habit of using hazelnut jams and creams as fillings has also become widespread. For perfect use, it is advisable to heat the oven to about 180°C, or the toaster. The crescentine will be ready in 2-3 minutes.
Ingredients: Type "00" soft WHEAT flour (contains GLUTEN), water, MILK, high oleic sunflower oil, lard, brewer's yeast, salt.
Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Once opened, refrigerate for 3-4 days.
